EXHIBIT I/J (Cont'd)
UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE
' SOIL CONSERVATION SERVICE
October 11, 1978
' Suburban Sand & Gravel Company
5700 Fenton Street
Arvada, Colorado 80004
' RE: Vegetative Information - Brighton Pit
' The majority of the property is presently being used as irrigated hayland,
with an almost pure stand of alfalfa. The stand in the northeast corner
' of the property appears in good condition and is producing approximately
4-5 tons per acre per year. The remainder appears to be a new planting
with about 40-50% of a stand, In some areas there is almost no stand
at all, In the areas where there is a 40-50% stand, the yield should be
' 2-3 tons per acre,
The remainder of the property is comprised of various weeds and grasses,
' These are all common to waste areas, See attached list for apecies.
There are scattered trees found on the property. Most of these are found
' a3ong the South Platte P`iver, the southern boundary and some in the waste
area to the southwest of the buildings. See attached list for species.

1

I ~ \~
- 31 -
