It is not planned to water the revegetated
materials. However, if water becomes available, the revegetated
' materials would benefit from one season of watering.
During the mining stage a few phreatophytic trees will be
removed (see map Exhibit C-1), and none are included in the
' reclamation plan, although some experimentation with a few trees
may be carried out. Whenever possible, overburden material will
' be used to backfill and reduce water area.
The operator's intention is to minimize disturbances to the
f
d
d
f
an
o
prevailing hydrologic balance of the a
fected lan
the
surrounding area and to the quality and quantity of water in
surface and ground water systems, both during and after mining
and during reclamation. There is no applicat
on o
the r
' or siltation structure removal requirement.
It is not expected that the ongoing operations will cause
' measurable, material injury to senior water rights.

- 22 -
