applied at one-week intervals at a rate of 0.75 to 1.00 inches per <br />application. The irrigations should begin no later than May 1st and <br />continue until late July. Additional irrigation's after July can be at the <br />discretion of the party responsible for reclamation. During the second <br />growing season, enough supplemental water should be applied so that <br />when combined with natural precipitation, two inches of moisture is <br />received per month during May, June and July. After July of the <br />second year, supplemental irrigation's can be discontinued. <br />9.) All tillage, seeding, and crimping operations should be performed <br />across the slope when practical. <br />The area should be protected from grazing and trampling until the <br />seeding is well established. Normally at least two years of protection <br />is needed. <br />During seedling establishment, weeds may be controlled either by <br />mowing or by using an approved herbicide.
