<br />E. A schedule indicating how and when reclamation will be implemented. The schedule <br />shall include: <br />1. An estimate of the periods of time which will be required for the various phases of <br />reclamation; <br />Reclamation will proceed concurrent with each phase of the mining. Grading and <br />replacement of topsoil will be completed as soon the material adjacent to the pond bank <br />has been removed to a point that will allow shaping of the bank. Mining proceeds from <br />the outside toward the center of the pond, therefore the perimeter of the area will be <br />regraded and reseeded before all material has been removed from each phase. The <br />regraded banks will be seeded at the earliest appropriate time to ensure there is adequate <br />moisture for germination. <br />2. A description of the size and location of each area to be reclaimed during each <br />phase; and <br />Reclamation for each phase will consist of regrading, replacement of topsoil and <br />reseeding of perimeter banks. This area will consist of approximately 3 acres for each <br />phase: <br />(Average of 15' above high water line at a 4:1 slope = 62' wide embankment <br />62' x 16,335' (perimeter of pond) = 1,012,770 square feet / 43,560 feet per acre = <br />23 acres / 8 phases = +/. 3 acres per phase.) <br />The final phase will also include removal of the processing equipment, regrading, <br />replacement of topsoil and revegetation of the processing site which is approximately 30 <br />acres. It is anticipated that the site access road and haul road for phases 7 and 8 will be <br />used for future access to the proposed development on the site. <br />3. An outline of the sequence in which each stage or phase of reclamation will be <br />carried out. <br />Sequence of reclamation will include regrading of mined sites, replacement of 12" of <br />topsoil and seeding during the appropriate season to assure adequate moisture for <br />germination and weed control to assure that grasses can establish.
