All signs will be of uniform design and will be placed so as to be readily seen and <br />read. The signs will be made of durable material capable of withstanding the snow and <br />cold weather typical of the permit area. All signs will conform with local ordinances and <br />codes. <br />Mine and Permit Identification Signs: Appropriate signs identifying the Raton Creek <br />Mine will be displayed at all points of public access. These signs will indicate the EFMC <br />company name, business address, telephone number, address and phone number of the <br />DMG, and the identification number of the current mining and reclamation permit. <br />Identification signs will be maintained until all disturbed azeas have been released from <br />bond. <br />Perimeter Markers: The perimeter of all areas affected by surface operation or facilities <br />will be clearly marked. Perimeter mazkers will be maintained throughout the life of the <br />operation. <br />Durltion of Maintenance: EFMC will maintain signs and markers throughout the period <br />of active operation to the point of bond release. Signs and markers will be maintained <br />and/or replaced as necessary. <br />Stream Buffer Zone Markers: No stream channels requiring buffer zones as defined <br />under Section 4.05.18 exist within the permit area. Therefore, the provisions of this <br />section aze not applicable. <br />Blasting Signs: _ No surface blasting will be conducted with the EFMC permit area. <br />Therefore, the provisions of Section 4.02.6 are not applicable. <br />Tonsoil Markers: No topsoil stockpiles exist within the permit area. In the event that <br />EFMC constructs any topsoil stockpiles in the future, each stockpile will be marked with <br />appropriate sign(s) identifying the topsoil materials. <br />681 Revised: 2/27/98 <br />Minor Revision 1715 <br />~N-o3 ~-~-9~ <br />
