<br />' EXHIBIT D <br />Soils <br />Native Red Clay Mine <br />' Dy-Bd Dwyer Loamy Sand <br />' 2-7% <br />pH 7 .4-8.4 <br />Permeabiiity; 6-20 in/hr <br />Dwyer soils are deep, excessively drained, sandy soils. They are <br />undulating soils formed in wind deposited sandy materials on uplands. <br />The rather shallow surface horizon, about 5 inches thick, consists of <br />' a non-limy loamy sand. The subsurface horizcn, to about 24 inches, <br />is also a non-limy loamy sand or sand. The substratum continues with <br />the same composition to depths of 50 inches or more. <br />' K6 Gilcrest Complex <br />1 <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />3-5% Slopes <br />pH 7 .4-8.4 <br />Permeability; <br />2-6, 5-20 in/hr <br />Gilcrest complex soils are deep, well drained, gently undulating soils. <br />They have formed in gravelly sandy loam parent material on alluvial <br />fans. This soil has a light brownish gray sandy loam surface horizon <br />about 6 inches thick. The subsoil horizon, to about 16 inches, is <br />brown gravelly sandy loam. The substratum material is very pale brown <br />gravelly sandy loam grading to graveiiy sand. <br />1 <br />
