April 29, 1986
Mr. Gregg R. Squire
Mined Land Reclamation Division
423 Centennial Bldg.
1313 Sherman Street
Denver, Colorado 80203
RE: Empire Energy Corporation Technical Revision - Access to "E" Seam,
Mine No. 6 Development, File No. C-81-044
• Dear Mr. Squire:
This material is submitted in response to the issues raised in your
adequacy review letter dated April 10, 1986. Each of the issues are
followed by Empire's responses.
Hydrology
1. Cover letter, paragraph 5, sentence 3: If the inflow estimates are
for development work only then why are these referenced to the 1 - 5
year and 6 - 10 year mine plans. The development phase should be
separated out and examined individually, then compared to the alter
mining phases in a separate narrative.
RESPONSE:
The estimates presented in the cover letter were informational only. The
"development" phase (E Seam Access) is addressed separately in the actual
Technical Revision documents.
2. There is no aquifer analysis based on the concept of multiple
completions even though this would be the case during development of
mpireEnergy Corporation
PO 30%+B :;R+~O COLOR>DO i'~2c
]0]~d1~~B Z<6
