The purpose of the site investigation was to
assess the likelrlrood of encountering jurisdictional wetlands, and potential habitat for the
Preble's meadow jumping mouse (Zapus hudsonius prebler) and Ute ladies-hessed orchid
(Splranthes diluvialis).
The site investigation consisted of a pedestrian and vehicle inspection of approximately
180 acres located wrthin the N'/: of Section 30, Township 5 North, Range 67 West of the
Sixth Prime Meridian, Weld County, Colorado. Segments of the sur~ce drainage have been historically altered
through ditching and redirection of surface water on the properties. In the areas where
