Gordon:
Mine's Species Di
Attached are two memos from Jim Pendleton and Sandy Emrich concerning
your October, 1982 Subsidence Monitoring Report and October, 1982
Proposed Species Diversity Success Standard, respectively.
With regards to Subsidence Monitoring, Jim Pendleton has made two Comments
concerning the report that CWI shou]d follow. Also, in response to your
request to change format and submittal dates of the report, the Division
agrees with the request but recommends that the Spring Subsidence report
be submitted concurrent]y with the Hydrology report on January 1,
If you prefer the January 1st date, please indicate this in writing
otherwise, we will be expecting the subsidence report in February
(starting in 1984). 1n addition, please note that we approve the new
submittal dates on the condition that at least two survey observations
occur each season, between June 1 and December 3].
lJith regard to your proposed Species Diversity Standard, Sandy Emrich
has identified one concern that needs to be addressed. CWI needs to
address minimum and maximum relative cover value. Sandy has suggested
a proposed criteria that could be added to your proposal to satisfy
our concern and resolve stipulation N15. We would appreciate your
response to this item by January 1, 1983.
