The purpose of this report format was to facilitate complete
data reporting and reduction without the usual first atte,pt confusion.
Stipulation No. 5 to permit No. C-03F-81 reads;
"The Division directs Colorado 1•'estmoreland,Inc. to submit reports of
its subsidence monitoring pnogram on a semi-annual basis, commencing
one month after the installation and initial surveying of the subsidence
monuments. Further, due to the complexity of the perrcit area geology,
presence of steep slopes, and sensitive hydrologic elements, Colorado
S;estmorel"and, Inc. is directed to submit a proposed subsidence monitoring
report format to the Division fir approval. This report format should
recognize the importance of continual update of subsidence data interpretation,
monitoring of ground eater levels and spring flows, monitoring of mine
inflow, and subsurface ground conditions which could be correlated to
subsidence prediction.
