Canany <br />Division Director <br />Natural Resource Trustee <br />Listed below are adequacy review comments on the above-captioned Regular 112 Application. <br />The decision date for your application is scheduled for May 27, 2007. Therefore, [would <br />appreciate a response from you on or before April 27, 2007. (Your response should include two <br />(2) copies). Attached are review comments from the US Army Corps of Engineers and the <br />Office of the State Engineer. Any public comments that we receive on your application during <br />the interim will be forwarded to you. Please be advised that your application maybe deemed <br />inadequate and maybe denied on May 27, 2007 unless the following adequacy review items are <br />addressed to the satisfaction of the Division. <br />6.4.5 EXHIBIT E -Reclamation Plan <br />1. The Division has reviewed the proposed seed mix and recommends the seed application rates <br />(for drill seeding) be revised to account for a critical area planting of at least 40 seeds per square <br />foot. If there is a specific reason why the 40 seeds/square foot criteria should not be followed, <br />please advise. Otherwise, the Division recommends the following seeding rates be incorporated <br />into the reclamation plan: <br />Western Wheatgrass 3.0 lbs/Acre PLS <br />Switchgrass 0.5 <br />Green Needlegrass 1.5 <br />Sideoats Grama 3.0 <br />Little Bluestem 1.5 <br />Purple Prairie Clover 0.5 <br />Fourwing Saltbush 1.5 <br />TOTAL ............... .. 11.5 lbs./Acre PLS <br />Office of Office of <br />Mined Land Reclamation Active and Inactive Mines <br />
