Because the Rollins Sandstone will not be impacted by mining, such a map should not be required. Figure <br />• 1 is a potentiometric for the 8-Seam. Water levels are expected to be controlled by topography and are <br />conceptually also shown in Figure 2. Mine inflow based on recharge calculations should not exceed 42 <br />gpm depending on the areal extent of the workings. In reality, because most of the recharge will be cut- <br />off by the upper workings, mine inflow rates will most likely be dependent on the hydraulic character of <br />strata and are anticipated be less than 1 gpm. <br />No faults have been identified which would allow water to move from the Rollins Sandstone into the mine <br />workings. In addition, movement of water appears to be in a downward direction. Therefore, no <br />movement oT water from the Rollins Sandstone into the B-Seam is anticipated. <br />• <br />• 7 <br />
