• 2.10 Public Notice <br />Following is the most recent public notice: <br />PUBLIC NOTICE <br />NCIG Financial, Inc., 2768 Compass Drive, Suite 101, Grand Junction, CO, 81506, has <br />submitted an application for a Technical Revision to the Division of Minerals and <br />Geology, for its Coal Ridge No. 1 Mine, mining permit No. C-84-065. The proposed <br />revision will remove a pipeline corridor from the permit boundary. The pipeline corridor <br />is a strip of land approximately 400 feet long and 25 feet wide which extends north from <br />the county road to the Colorado River, originating just east of the mine entrance road. <br />The mine permit area is located in portions of the following described lands. The mine <br />is located approximately 3 miles east of New Castle, south of the Colorado River in the <br />Grand Hogback region in Garfield County. The revised Coal Ridge No. 1 Mine permit <br />area is located on the U.S. Geological Survey 7.5 minute Storm King Mountain and <br />New Castle Quadrangle maps. <br />Township 6 South, Range 91 West, 6th PM <br />Sec. 1: Those lands in the NE'/a yet south of County Road 335, Lots <br />3 and 4, S'/z, S'/zNW Ya <br />Sec. 12: NYzNEYa <br />Township 6 South.
