Therefore we request that you condition your <br />permit to include consultation with our office concerning the State <br />Register eligibility of these resources and the effects of proposed mining <br />operations on any found eligible. In addition we have requested that the <br />applicant consult with appropriate Native American groups regarding the <br />potential for sacred sites in the project area. Therefore, we recommend <br />that you include this condition as well in your permit. <br />If we may be of further assistance, please contact Kaaren (Patterson) <br />Hardy-Hunt, our Technical Services Director, at 866-3398. <br />Sincerely, <br />James E.
