A discussion of pre- and pOSt-~ <br />mining grazing use and management must be included in the permit application,.r / <br />4.15.6 Field Trials <br />Termination of annual soil fertilization testing is not automatic after three <br />years, as the applicant has indicated in the permit application; ldyoming Fuels <br />musC request permission from regulatory authorities to terminate testing after <br />three years. This misconception should be acknowledged and corrected in the <br />permit application. ' <br />4.15.7 Revegetation <br />4.15.7 Determinine Revegetation Success: General Requirements <br />A vegetation map showing points of data collection for cover, diversity and <br />production on both reference areas and the permit area should be provided. <br />4.15.7(3)(6) <br />The Division has found several problems with statistical methodology utilized <br />to compare reference areas with the permit area. The comments which follow were <br />prepared by Michael Savage for this review. The applicant should address all <br />responses to these concerns to Mr. Savage. <br /> <br />
