DMG staff are evaluating the geotechnical stability study conducted by Revey Associates, Inc. and <br />will respond under separate cover. Please also address the potential for mining operations to cause <br />off-site damage to structures due to exacerbation of instability of old coal mine workings in the <br />vicinity. <br />31. The adequacy response letter includes responses to most of the concerns noted in the objection <br />letters that are permit related and addressed in the Act and Rules. The answer to some concerns is <br />on-going such as the geotechnical stability, stormwater and drainage control, and weed control. <br />Some other comments were not addressed. Please address the following comments from those <br />objection letters: <br />a. Statement that objector cannot find evidence that the applicant has applied for other <br />required state permits. {Welch); <br />b. Comments regarding the destabilization and resulting damage possible due to vibration <br />from equipment acting on nearby underground mine workings.(Hudson, Replogle, Arney, <br />Gardner); <br />c.
