Sand and Gravel -Sheehan Pit; Slatey <br />Moffat County, Colorado. <br />Mr. Means: <br />Please ftnd enclosed the following items for the J. & D. Sand and Gravel -Sheehan <br />Pit - Construction Materials Limited Impact (110) Reclamation Permit Application. <br />1. The Permit Fee for $ 1094.00 <br />2. Original Application Forms and an additional copy of the completed application <br />form; <br />3. 2 complete copies of Exhibits A - L <br />This will be a small operation associated with the landowner similar to the previous <br />one on the same site. Operations at the site would be <30 days per year. Generally site <br />activities will be contained to the previously disturbed 1.34 acre area initially plus some rock <br />scaling from above previous mined areas and along the eastside of the site above the County <br />Road 1 R.O.W. Mine expansion would be slow due to limited local demand and may <br />approach 3 acres of total disturbance in 20 }'ears. Weathered sandstone rock would generally <br />be removed to the bedrock. Explosives are not proposed to be used at the site. The <br />DRM&S would be contacted concerning any future proposed use of explosives. <br />Future mining activities will move to the west and north from the current 1.34 acre <br />previously disturbed/reclaimed area which will be used for the site operations.
