could this prevent any possible erosion to the south slope? I
request that this issue be completely addressed in detail in the
geologic hazard report,
Can I be assured that the State of Colorado is not putting me
and my property in a hazardous situation by allowing the
approval of the Benson's mining permit?
My third concern is that there has never been a mention of the
Carbon Irrigation Ditch which could receive run offwater from
the 'dry creek bed' that goes through or near the Benson's
property. In Exhibit G -Water Information, the Bensons state
that the internuttent stream in the azea will have a culvert
installed where the haul road crosses. Please reference the map
with write in information. I have listed the water share holders
who receive and depend upon unpolluted water from the Carbon
Irrigation Ditch which follows the edge of Ward Creek Road
and the identified 'dry creek bed'. Is there any reasonable
possibility that this irrigation ditch could be contaminated by the
Benson's minning operation.
Please listen to my concerns and take them seriously.
nk You _
J" et Croissant
20993 Snowdrift Road
Cedaredge Co 81413
cc: Steve Shuey -Dept of Mines
101 s. 3rd St -Room 301
Grand Junction Co. 81501
Attachments: Map
Pictures
