'Page 2 <br />PermitNo. COG-g50000 <br />• <br />CDPS GENERAL PERMIT <br />FOR COAL MINING FACILITIES (SURFACE RUNOFF) <br />AUTHORIZATION TO DISCHARGE UNDER THE <br />COLORADO DISCHARGE PERMIT SYSTEM <br />n compliance with the provisions of the Colorado Water Qualiry Control Act (25-8-101 et seq., CRS, 1973 as amended), facilities engaged in <br />Wining and processing of coal are authorized to discharge surface mnoff and other minor approved sources from authorized locations [hroughotu <br />he State of Colorado to land and to specified waters of the State. Such discharges shat] be in accordance with conditions of this permit. <br />applicant may demand an adjudicatory hearing within thirty (30) days of the issuance of the fma] permit determination, per the Colorado <br />harge Permit System Regulations, Regulation No. 61 (5 CCR 1002-61). Should the applicant choose to contest any ofthe eflluent limitations, <br />itoring requirements or other conditions contained herein, the applicant must comply with Section 24~-] 04 CRS and the Colorado Discharge <br />ilt System Regulations. Failure to contest any such effluent limitation, monitoring requirement, or other condition, constitutes consent to the <br />iition by the Applicant. <br />permit specifically authorizes the facility listed on page I of this permit to discharge process generated wastewaters, as ofthe date stated below, in <br />rdance with ilte permit requiremenu and conditions set forth in Pans 1 and II hereof.
