Computer requirements to use the DMG docameat Imaging CD (or DVD): I . A pragsam called QuickV iew will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your computer in order ro use a DMG imaging CD the first time. Future use of this er other imaging CD's does not require a new installation of the software. 2. The CD or DVD that you purchase must be in the D• rive. A DV D drive will read a CLl or DVD. 3. The CO will conmin files with the .tif extension. 'There needs to be an image viewing application for .tif files on your computer that will handle single and multi-page documents. On a Windows XP computer, the defhult viewing programs are called "Windows Picture end Fax Viewer" or "Paint" and they do not work with QuickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP computers does work. DMG has determined that a program called "IrfenView", which can be downloaded from irfanView.com, does work with Quick View. Auer downloading "IrfanView', it needs to be'co~gured u your default .tif viower. DMG does not support or endorse this sothvare and the licensing and registration are the user's responsibility. There arc many other programs that work as well, such ns "Imaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". [nstructlons: 1. Insert the CD into yotrr computer. 2 Allow time for the CD to install. Eject the CD from the computtt. 4. Reinsert the CD inro the contputtt. 5. You are ready to view the Permit Fires. NOTE: A program called QuickView Automn, which runs the QuickView setup program, has also been copied to this CD. !f the Autonm program does NOT work, you will need to manually install the QuickView program. Instructions for manually installing QuickView aze available upmt request with the CD or can be viewed at www.minine.state.co.us. The Permit File document images cap be vMwed in the reception area of the DMG office or they cep be purchased on a CD or DVD. The CD/DVD purchase cost covers the time and labor of making the CD. DMG cannot provide computer related snonort.
