<br />.; . <br /> <br />5. The 12 inches of compacted overburden should also consist of <br />material that is demonstrated to be non acid forming or metal <br />generating material. In addition, this layer should have a <br />demonstrated low permeability and be relatively impervious to <br />both water and air flow down and dispersion of deleterious <br />constituents of the capped material up into this layer. <br />6. Some type of plan to evaluate the erosional' stability and <br />possible maintenance or design change of certain areas of the <br />cap should be in place prior to approval of cap design. The <br />design plans of the cap should also include adequate drainage <br />design and drainage protection to control accelerated erosion <br />of any part of the cap material. <br />7. It may be wise to include some method of evaluating (prior to <br />water running out the other side of the capped material) how <br />well or how poorly the cap is performing in the short term. <br />CRSNCAP.MEM <br />
