iii iiiiiiiiiiiu iii <br />999 <br />Date: April 14, 2000 <br />To: GEC File <br />From: David Berry <br />Re: Telephone Conversation Log <br />Dr. Corley called and stated that he visited GEC and met with George Patterson and Phil Kessler. <br />Dr. Corley also stated the following: <br />- He recommends that Phil Kessler get the job, and he believes that Phil will work well with <br />John Nelson. <br />- He prefers that we take the fill material from the highwall north of the knob, and not disturb <br />the knob. <br />- He feels that Phil knows where to align the road per Dr. Corley's wishes and places his <br />"proxy" with Phil. He trusts Phil to field design the road. <br />- He says he prefers an alignment that crosses the drainage straight, not diagonal, and states <br />that we should use two 5' culverts, not an 8' culvert. He states that this would necessitate a <br />curve in the road, rather than a straight run. Dr. Corley now prefers this curved alignment. <br />
