<br /> <br />PUBLIC NOTICE <br />The Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology will hold a formal public hearing on <br />October 21, 1992 before the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board. At this meeting the <br />Division will request that the Board grant a variance from the requirement that the Apez <br />No. 2 mine (file No. C-81-011) completely eliminate the highwall upon reclamation. This <br />variance will be in compliance with those exemptions allowed in Federal regulations. <br />The Apex No. 2 mine5a coal mine operated by Sunland Mining Corporation. The mine is <br />located in Sections 21 and 22, T4N, R86W, Routt County. <br />The hearing will be held at the Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology ofTice, 1313 <br />Sherman Street, Room 319, Denver, Colorado 80203.
