_ ~.v <br />~'UBLIC NOTICE - DEAiH AIYD D~i;tUC'TION <br />i .. <br />Be It kno-~ri that.the Feder~~ Office of Surface Mining (081vi), the <br />Colorado boned Land Reclamation Board and Dtvistons of the Colorado <br />Department of Natural Resources by their policies and practices have <br />and contirue to kill our Iivestock and µ-lldllfe. <br />The departments continue to condone practices that: approved <br />and encouraged selective reclamation, approved diversion of our <br />water, destroyed our property (real estate strictures), compacted the <br />land causing severe erosion to trap and kill livestock and wildlife (12 <br />animals), endanger human beings, and have at times, violated the law. <br />Coal mining ceased on our property [n 1981. A 1983 Court Order <br />Included our 1975 contract w~htch prohibited further mining, and <br />other intents, and has been ignored. Deals made by the Departments <br />have favored Sun Coal Company, causing severe loss and trauma to the <br />land owners.
