Computer requirements to use the DMG document imaging CD (or DVDj: . n p.ogr,.n called QuickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your computer in order to use a DMG imaging CD the first time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not require a new installation of the softwaze. 2. The CD or DVD that you purchase r nisi be in the D: drive. A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. 3. The CD will contain files with the .fif extension There needs to bean image viewing application for .fif Files on your computer that will handle single and multi-page documents. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs aze called "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer" or "Paint" and they do not work with QuickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP computers does work. DMG has determined [ha[ a program called "IrfanView", which can be downloaded from IrfanView.com, does work with QuickView. After downloading "frfanView", it needs to be configured as your default .tif viewer. DMG does not support or endorse this software and the licensing and registration are the user's responsibility. There aze many other programs that work as well, such as "Imaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". Ins[rudions: Insert the CD into your computer. Allow time for the CD to install. Eject the CD from the computer. 4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. 5. You are ready to view the Permit Files. NOTE: A program called QuickView Au[orun, which nuts the QuickView setup program, has also been copied to this CD.
