Computer regalremenh to use the DMG document imaging CD (or DVD): 1. A program called QuickViow will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your computer in order to use a DMG imaging CD the fast time, Future use of this or other imaging CD's does ~t require a new installation of the software. 2. The CD or DVD that you purchase gyD be in the D: drive.. A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. 3. The CD will contain files with the .tif extension. There needs to be as image viewing application for .tif files on your computer that will beadle single and multipage documents. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Pictrue and Fax Viewer" or "Paint" and they do sot work with QuickView. Thu Imaging Viewer that comes with pro-Windowa XP computers, does work. DMG has determined that a program called "IrfanView", which can be downloaded firm hfanView.com, does work with QuickView. After downloading "IrfanView°, it needs to be configured as your default .tif viewrr. DMG.does not support or endorse this software and the licensing and regishation aro the user's responsibility. There are many other programs that work aS well, such m "Imaging Preview" aod'Tmaging for Windows". Tnsttltctlons• 1. Insert the CD into your computer. Allow time for the CD to install ~. fiject the CD from the wmputa. 4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. 5. You are ready to view the Permit Files, NOT'B: A program called QuickView Autumn, which runs the QuickView setup' program, has also hero copied to this CD. If the Autonm program does NOT work you will need to manually install the QuickViaw program.
