2.8. Roads (light use, access, and haul roads). <br />Haul Roads HRl and HR1A (see Exhibit 12-2, 3/2007) for inbound coal to the hopper are <br />-abeled in Photograph 081-07-06-28-360 above. The southern portion of HRl starts at the <br />intersection with Routt County Road (RCR) 53. It loops onto the site to the truck dump hopper. <br />Access to the office buildings is via access road HGLF-ARI (labeled on this same photograph). <br />This access road runs parallel and contiguous to the southern and western portions of the HR 1 A <br />loop. Access and light use roads internal to the facilities disturbed azeas aze not labeled in the <br />photographs. These roads are described on pages 3 and 4 of Tab 12, Attachment 12-1, of the <br />PAP. The road that continues to the east, beyond the entrance gate to the truck dump hopper, is <br />the Seneca II-W (permit C-1982-057) Tie-Across Haul Road. <br />2.9. Location and approximate size of coal stockpiles. <br />A remnant base of the conical coal pile at the stacking tube is visible (but not labeled) in <br />Photograph 081-07-06-28-260 above. <br />Part 3 -Support Facilities & Hvdrologic Structures -To be completed at Permit Renewal and <br />Midterm <br />See Part 4 of this inspection for a description of buildings, light poles, fences and gates. <br />3.1. Are there any roads on the site? <br />Yes, and all roads on the site are documented in the permit (see pages 3 and 4, Attachment 12-1 <br />of Tab 12 dated 03.07 of the PAP) as described above in pazapgraph 2.8. No roads have been <br />permitted for permanent retention in this permit. Tasks 007, 008, 011, and 012 of the current <br />reclamation cost estimate address reclamation of roads. <br />3.2. Are there any culverts on the site? <br />Yes, see paragraph 2.7 above. A portion of Task 037 of the current reclamation cost estimate <br />includes the reclamation of the culverts. <br />3.3. Are there any stream monitoring sites? <br />There are three stream monitoring sites, HGSD1, HGSD2, and HGSD3, on Dry Creek. <br />Locations aze shown on Figure 13-1, 03/06, of the PAP. There is no disturbance or equipment <br />installed at these sites. With the initiation of monitoring at HGSD3, monitoring at HGSD2 was <br />terminated. <br />3.4. Are there any drill holes, wells, etc. on site?. <br />There are four alluvial groundwater monitoring wells (HGDAL 1, 2, 3, and 4) and two water <br />supply wells (HG Shallow Well No. 1 and water supply well).
