Due Diligence Survey

Hillyard called Walker, referral by Al Amundson, about Permit C-84-063. She was working on a due
diligence survey on behalf of Mr. Steve Beckley. A number of questions were answered and
information provided. The requirement of the permit holder to restore the site to undeveloped
rangeland (postmining land use) was discussed. Currently, release from restoration could not be
considered until 2005. A possibility of a change of postmining land use was discussed in general
terms [Rule 1.04(71)(e)]. Hillary was provided a history of the site bye-mail. She ordered a CD of
the permit, the Permit Application Package, and a copy of the Rules.
ACTIONS TO BE TAKEN: Johanna and Alysha will prepare and send the CD.
