Nor doe this permit pre-anpt or supersede the <br />aruhoriry of loco! agencies to prohibit, nutria or rontro! duchargu of stormwattr to storm-drain systttnt or othn water <br />rourse within their jurisdiction. <br />Certification under the permit requiru submittd of a rompleted applicaion. Upon rcttipr of all required information, <br />the Divitian may allow or disallow rovrrage under the genera! permit within 30 days. <br />V. CRITERIA FOR REQUIRING 1NDlVIDUAL PERMITS <br />Various other criteria can be used in evaluating whahtr or nor an individual permit may 6e tequitrd instead oja <br />genera! permit. Thu injormation may come from the application, SWMP, err additional information err rcquerted by the <br />Division, and include, but is not dmited to, the following: <br />1. the quality of the rcttiving waters (i.e., the preentt ojdownatrcam drinking water intakes or a high quality <br />fishery, or for prcserNttion of high quality water); <br />2. the type of mining aciviry, including polhuion poteuial; <br />3. the volume and type of materiait handled; <br />6. the size of the jariliry; <br />S. evidence of nonrompliantt under o previous pesrnit jot the operation; and <br />6. the use ojefianicais within the stormwato systan. <br />In addition, an irdividua! permit may be required when the Divirion has shown err has reason to suspect that the <br />ssorrnwater discharge is a sign frcant contributor ojpollruaus to waters of the State. <br />V!.
