Finley <br />Dear Mr. Finley: <br />Ic ~ <br />~~,f,~'~ <br />~;., <br />~f. <br />t~_ ~N ~, c,-. <br />~n~~, <br />r _ - <br />PLnN Pa'`iG A_~l-- <br />The Colorado Department of Highways has reviewed Subdivision Exemption PJo. 86-4 <br />and we have the following comments: <br />1) Although a "Special Use Permit" for this excavation and batch plant <br />operation was approved by the Pueblo County Planning Commission on <br />-` March 24, 1966, the Colorado Department of Highways did not approve <br />any access for this use. <br />2) The "State Highway Access Code" applies to all access points to State <br />highways and requires the submittal of an "Application Far Access Per- <br />mit". <br />3) The owner is responsible for any off-site improvements and/or safety <br />features required by development traffic. Estimated traffic using <br />the access and predicted turning movements are required to determine <br />necessary off-site improvements. <br />4) Access to Parcels "C" and "D" is from an existing frontage road par- <br />alleling the highway and intersecting the proposed Parcel "D" access. <br />Access from Parcel "A" is directly to the state highway and will be <br />allowed to remain as long as the property use remains single family <br />only. As stated above, an application will be required for the batch <br />plant access.
