Your
commitment to replace the three dead trees, and complete improvements to County Road 33a
should alleviate issues related to the Special Use Permit (SUP). The proposed straightening of
the alignment at the railroad intersection is a definite improvement and is not a requirement of
the SUP. The timetable as outlined in your May 15"' and June 5th letters (June 30"'to complete
radius improvements on 33a, and June 23`tl to replace the trees) is acceptable.
C ~ I have discussed your November 15°i 1999 recommendation on testing parameters for
groundwater testing wdh Mike Zopf. He has reviewed earlier test resuRs and is in agreement
that the testing you suggest is adequate. I have included a copy of your request as a reference.
If you have any questions I can be reached at 879-2704.
Si~nce~rely,
Jofin Eastman
Staff Planner
Cc: Mike Zopf
Diane Anderson

c®urrrY
G:\Depts\Planning\CUR_PLNG\Letter.2000\Tellier pit water testing.doc
