Box 1821 <br />Colorado Springs, CO 80901 <br />Re: Notice of Formal Public Hearings <br />Dear Dr. Corley: <br />This letter is serving to notify The Corley Company of its being scheduled to appear before the <br />Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board during the November 17-18, 1993 Board meeting. <br />The Corley Company has been placed on the agenda at its request to petition the Board for three <br />Declaratory Orders to terminate controversies or to remove uncertainties as to the applicability to <br />the petitioner of any statutory provision or of any mle or Order of the Board (C.R.S. 24-4-105 <br />and Rule 1-4 of the Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board for Coal <br />Mining). <br />The petitions submitted are described as follows: <br />1. On October 18, 1993, in a letter dated October 16, 1993 and addressed to <br />Mr. Daniel I. Hernandez, The Corley Company petitioned the Board for a <br />Declaratory Order "to resolve questions concerning reclamation of the <br />Harrison Western coal waste on our lands"; <br />2. On October 18, 1993, in a letter dated October 16, 1993 and addressed to <br />Mr. Daniel I. Hernandez, the Corley Company petitioned the Board for a <br />Declaratory Order "to resolve questions concerning bond release for <br />Weckerling and Canon Coal Corp. on our lands"; <br />3. On October 26, 1993, in a letter dated October 25, 1993 and addressed to <br />Ms. Shawn E. Smith, The Corley Company petitioned the Board for a <br />Declaratory Order "to remove the [Newlin Creek light use] mad from the <br />permit area." <br />
