Bo: 219 <br />Glenwood Springs, Colorado 81602 <br />(303) 945-7755 <br />Denver Dirett Line: 893-1608 <br />March I8, 1991 <br />C.H. and Richard Coulson <br />(dha Coulson Excavating) <br />3609 North County Road 13 <br />Loveland, Colorado 80537 <br />Re: BI•o~.vnwood Pil if I and J12, MLRD 79059 <br />Dear Sirs: <br />Wright Water Engineel:s is reviewing Senate Bill 120 submittals for the Slate Engineer's Office. <br />We will need the following information as indicated below in order to complete the review: <br />_ Mup or photo documenting claimed surface acreages. <br />_ Copy of aerial photos indicating pre-1981 and post-1981 gravel pit area. <br />X Evidence of lease or ownership of water rights proposed for replacement water required <br />prior to final approval. <br />_ Basecl on SEO previous experience, 4 percent of product removed by weight is water. <br />Please use 4 percem in the accounting of replacement water requirements unless <br />documentation can be provided showing differently. <br />X All accounting Curm (monthly frequency at minimum) shall he provided showing <br />estimates of the following items: ®pit size; ©gross pit evaporation; (3) phreato- <br />pllyte consumptive use credit;®net pit evaporation; Q water carried away with the <br />mined sand and ravel; t'Ji diversions from the pit for dust control, land reclamation, <br />irrig:ltion, etc.; ~! total de letion impact on the river, reservoir or replacement source <br />augmentation releases; ~ available headgate diversion; ® available historic <br />consumptive use credits, and (10) transportation loss charges. Aft items in this list may <br />not he applicable to every proposal. Likewise, certain proposals may require additional <br />accounting. <br />_ is there a well within 600 feet of the pemlitted well location? <br />X Please use 70 percent of annual precipitation as effective precipitation in calculation of <br />net monthly pond evaporation. <br />Note: You may claim ice cover for January and FehrLlary to decrease the evaporative <br />losses, but you need documentation for additiot>~i awnUu. <br />
