Gttany <br />Division Director <br />Natural Resource Trustee <br />The Division has completed its Midterm Penvit Review of the King Coal Mine. The <br />review document is enclosed. <br />The review found that the pernut does not need updating. The Division estimates <br />reclamation liability for the King Coal Mine is $238,849 (see attached copy of the <br />cost estimate). Bond on deposit is $175,000. Please submit additional bond in the <br />amount of $63,849 in order to bring total bond on deposit to $238,849. You may <br />request an informal conference for discussing the bond reclamation liability as <br />provided in Section 3.02.2 of our Regulations.
