Long <br />FROM: Allen Sorenson /k/X`J/ Ui~-ision Director <br />RE: Detection Limits for Ground Water Analysis, Gold Hill <br />Mill, COM, Inc., Permit No. M-94-117 <br />Telephone discussion with Bruce BeVerts, consultant to COM, Inc., <br />resulted in the following resolution: <br />The detection limits for the following parameters for the required <br />ground water sampling and analysis will be: <br />Al - 120 ug/L <br />Fe - 18 ug/L <br />Mn - 8.1 ug/L <br />Zn - 51 ug/L <br />For uranium, the detection limit used for the second quarter, 1997 <br />sampling will be 111 ug/L. If uranium is not detected at this <br />limit, the Division and COM, Inc. will conduct further discussion <br />on the uranium detection limit to be employed. <br />C:\WP51\GOLDWILL.OET <br />
