D2pi. ci ivz(_rl I;c:our~es <br />In regarding our phone conversation on September 20, 1983, discussing the <br />Mormon Gap revegetation test plots. I have provided a brief summary of the <br />meeting held here on September 15, 1983. The following people attended: <br />Sam Stranathan <br />Alvin Jones <br />~ Will Wright <br />Dave Harper <br />Butch Smith <br />Curt Leet <br />Ole Olson <br />Upper Colorado Environmental Plant Center <br />Soil Conservation Service <br />Western Fuels - Deserado Mine <br />But eau of Land Mgmt. (BLM), White River <br />Resource Area (4lRRA) <br />BLM, WRRA <br />BLM, WRRA <br />BLM, Little Snake Resource Area <br />All parties involved are providing materials and personnel for plot in- <br />stallation which will take place during the last week of October and the <br />first week in November 1983. Monitoring will be a joint effort and a <br />Technical Repott is planned after two (2) growing seasons of data have been <br />gathered. A summary of the responsibilities is included in the attached <br />Pemorandum of Understanding. You are cordially invited to participate <br />in the effort. Funds and personnel would be appreciated to complete <br />plot installation. There were two (2) obvious shortfalls identified <br />during the meeting on September 15, 1983; first, from who we can <br />borrow a land imprinter and who will get iC, and second, chicken wire <br />fence to exclude rabbits. <br />A meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, October 12, 1983 at 9:30 a.m. at <br />this office to discuss the Memorandum of Understanding, finalize the <br />plot layout and work out logistics.
