Computer requirements to use the DMG document imaging CD (or DVD): 1. A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed ott your computer in order to use a DMG imaging CD the first time. Future use of this or other irttaging CD's does not requite a new installation of the software. 2. The CD or DVD that you purchase must be in the D_. drive. A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. 3. The CD will contain files with the .tif extension. There needs to be an image viewing application for .tif files on your computer that will handle singly and multi~page documents. On a W indows XP computer, dte default viewing programs are called "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer" of "Paint" and they do net work with QuickView. The Imaging Viewer that wmos with pre•Windows XP computers does work. DMG has determined that a program called "IrfanView", which can be downloaded from irfanView.com, does work with QuickView, Attar downloading "IrfanView", it Heads to be configured as your default .df viewer. DMG does not suppott or endorse this software and the licensing and registration are the user's responsibiliry. Thera are many other programs that work as well, such as "Imaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". Instructions: 1. Insert rho CD into your computer. 2. Allow time for the CD to install. 3. Eject the CD from the computer. 4. Reinsert the CD inm the computer. 5. You are ready to view the Permit Files. NOTE: A program called QuickView Autontn, which runs the QuickView setup program, has also been copied to this CD. If the Aumrun program does NOT work, you will need to manually install the QuickView program. InsoucHons for manually installing QuickView are available upon request with the CD or can be viewed a[ www.miaine.state.w.us. The Permit File document images can be viewed in the reception area of the DMG office or they cad be purchased on a CD or DVD. Tho CDIDVD purchase coat wvera the time and labor of making rho CD.
