Reoortin¢ Reouirements Reporting -Active Mining Operations: The permittee will be required to submit an Annual Report, covering January 1 through December 31 of each year, on their compliance with the SWMP. The Annual Report will contain, at a minimum: a) A report on the faci[iry's overall compliance with the SWMP. b) A summary of all comprehensive stormwater inspections made. c) Results and interpretation of any stormwater monitoring performed. The Annual Report will be due to the Division on or before February l5 of each year (see Pan I.E.1 of the permit). Reporting -Inactive Mining Operations: The permittee will be required to submit a Compliance Report. This report will coruain, at a minimum: a) A report on the faciliy's overat! compliance with the SWMP. b) A summary or copies of the annual inspection reports, or the triennial certification by a Professional Engineer that the faciiiry is in compliance with the permit. The report wit! be due to the Division on or before February I5, 1999, and will cover the period of rime from permit cerrification to December 31, 1998 (see Part I.E.1 of the permit). 3. Reporting - Remeduuion Projects: The perminee will be required to submit an Annual Report, covering January 1 through December 31 of each year, on the compliance with the SWMP. The Annual Report wilt comain, at a minimum: a) A report on the facility's overall compliance with the SWMP, including a progress report an remediation activities. b) A summary of al[ comprehensive stot7rtwater inspections made. c) Results and interpretation of any stormwater monitoring performed. The Annual Report wilt be due to the Division on or before February 15 of each year (see Pan I.E.1 of the permit). All reports required for submittal shall be signed and certified for accuracy by the permittee. (See Part I.E.2 of the petmit.) E. Monitorine Sampling and testing of stormwater for specific parameters is not required on a routine basis under this permit. However, the Division reserves the right to require sampling and testing, on a case-by-case basis, in the event that there is reason to suspect that compliance with the SWMP is a problem, ar to measure the effectiveness of the BMPs in removing pollutants in the discharge. F. Retention of Records The permittee for active mining operations shall retain a copy of the SWMP required 6y this permit at the mining site for the duration of this permit. The permittee for inactive mining operations or mine-waste remediation sites shall retain a copy of the SWMP required by this permit, for the duration of this permit. For a[I types of operations, the permittee shall retain copies of all other reports required by this permit and records of all data used to complete the application to be covered by this permit, for a period of at least three years.
