<br />of the proposed mine area are wetlands subject to Clean Water Act <br />jurisdiction. Certain activities associated with gravel <br />extraction in "waters of the United States," such as roads, <br />containment dikes, stockpiles, etc., require a Department of the <br />Army permit. You should submit a detailed mine and reclamation <br />plan for the proposed mine area to our Grand Junction Regulatory <br />office by September 30, 1988.
