Computer requirements to use the DMG document Lasging CD (or DVD): 1. A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your computer in order to use a DMG imaging CD the fast time. Futtue use of this or other imaging CD's does not require a new installation of the soffware. 2. The CD or DVD that you purchase giust be in the D: dr[ve. A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. 3. The CD will contain fdes with the .tif extension There needs to be an image viewirsg application for .tif files on }roar computer that will handle single and multi=page doclmments. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Pichue and Fax Viewer" or "Paint" and they do not work with l'2uickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes withpre-Windows XP computers. does work. DMG has determined that a program called "IrfanView", which can be downloaded from hfanView.com, does work with f2uickView. After downloading "h~nView", it needs to be configtued as your default .tif viewer. DMG does not support or endorse this software and the licensing and registration are the user's responsrbility. There are many other programs that work as well, such as "Imaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". InatructIona• 1. Insect the CD into your computer. . Allow time for the CD to install. 3. Eject the CD from the computer. 4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. 5. You are ready m view the Permit Files. NOTE: A program called QuickView Autonm, which runs the QuickView setup program, has aLco been copied to this CD. If the Autorun program does NOT work, you will need to manually install the QuickView program. hvctnrctions for manually installing QuickView are available upon request .with the CD or can be viewed at www.minine.state.co.us. The Permit Flle document images can be viewed in the reception area of fire DMG office or they can be purchased on s CD or DVD. The CD/DVD purchase coat covers the time and labor of making the CD.
