BMRI has volunteered to pla~:e rip rap
in these drainages to keep the road from eroding away and slowing down hea~~y flows
which carry large amounts of sediment into the Rito Seco. This letter is to inform the
Division that BMRI will be placing riprap along the southside of the county road in
drainages as specified by the Costilla Soil Conservation District. These are nct
drainages that relate to or are caused by mining. Since these drainages are not part of
mining operations, they do not need to be included in our Stormwater Management
Plan. These drainages are the end results of the drainages north of the counts road and
from water buildup along the county road.
Sincerely,
<~~~2~~ ~ J~~C>2,~~d~/
Sally Hayes Kalser
Environmental Engineer
cc: Anne Baldrige
Dan Robertson
P.O.
