Carl Mount
May 31, 1990
Page 4
Vegetation appears somewhat thicker on this slope than
on the upstream slope. Erosion does not appear to be a
problem due to the relatively short slope and limited
area exposed to runoff. The only significant runoff
from the haul road ditches occurs in a controlled
downdrain on the north abutment of the embankment to
the "Tie Across Road" culvert. No cracking, bulging,
or other signs of stress were noted.
III. Conclusion
There appears to have been no noticeable change in the
embankment structure since the last annual inspection
of June 1, 1989. Vegetation is growing on the side
slopes. the embankment is stable and the underlying
rock fill is functioning as expected.
If you have any questions or concerns
please contact me by telephone (602)
at this office.
c: Fred Fest
Jim Lunan
Chuck McCulloh
Gary Melvin
regarding this report,
677-5072 or writing me
~~~ REG~~•
•~~ ~J'•
~~~P.•• j'6fyAl~,~
Re s p~f~jp~~ ,
• v
Ron~$'a.
