Computer requh•ementa to use the DMG document Imagtog CD (or DVDj: 1. A program called QttickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your computer in order to use a DMG imaging CD tbe first time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not require a new installation of the software. 2. The CD or DVD that you purchase m~u tt be in the De drive. A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. 3. The CD will contain files with the .tif extewion. There needs to be an image viewing application for .tif files on your computer that will handle single and mule-page documents. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer" or "Paint" and tbey do not work with f2trickView. The Imaging Viewer that wmes with pre-Windows XP computers does work. DMG has determined that a program called "hfanView", which can be downloaded from hianView.com, does work with QuickV iew. After downloading "IrfsrtView", it needs to be wnfigured as your default .tif viewer. DMG does not rapport or endorse this software and the licensing and registration are the war's rbspowibility. There arc many other programs that work ae well, such as "Imaging Previawr' and "Imaging for W indows". Inelructiom• 1. Inset the CD into your computer. 2. A11ow time for the CD to install. 3. Eject the CD from the computer. 4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. 5. You are ready to view the Permit Files, NOTE: A program called QuickView Autorun, which rune the QttickView setup program, has also been copied to this CD. If the Automn program does NOT work, you will need to manwlly install the QuickView program. The Permit File document images can be viewed In the reception area of the DMG office or they coo be parchaaed an a CD or DVD. Tho CD/DVD perches cost coven the time and labor of making the CD.
