By means of <br />this letter, we are advising the operator that this financial warranty is no <br />longer being cancelled and that a replacement warranty no longer has to be <br />posted by May 4, 1985. <br />In response to your last paragraph on Page 1, the Division does inspect <br />various sites on a periodic basis. Requests for financial warranty reduction <br />or release must be made by the operator. Once such a request is made, the <br />Division schedules an inspection of the site within 60 days of such a request <br />(pursuant to statutory requirements). The Division's findings are presented <br />to the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board (MLRB) at the next possible <br />monthly meeting. The MLRB may approve such a release or reduction request or <br />may increase the financial warranty if the MLRB believes the current financial <br />warranty is inadequate. <br />For your information, this site was last inspected on March 12, 1985.
