Long <br />RE: Gold Hill Mill, Permit No. M-83-141 - Importation of Oreoids~nD~re~l« <br />the Gold Hill Mill <br />Dear Mr. Tatman: <br />On June 23, 1994 a meeting was held between the Division and you as <br />a representative of Colina Oro Molino, Inc.(COM, Inc.) concerning <br />the terms of approval of importation of ore to the mill in <br />Technical Revision No. 3 to Permit No. M-83-141 and the recent <br />shipment of Mogul mine ore to the Gold Hill Mill. Mark Steen, with <br />Mi Vida Enterprises, the co-permittee, was invited to the meeting <br />but declined to attend. The attached conditions of approval of TR- <br />03 were distributed to you and discussed. A copy of the current <br />Memorandum of Understanding between the Division of Minerals and <br />Geology and the Colorado Department of Health regarding custom\non- <br />custom milling and the importation of ore was also distributed to <br />you and discussed. Please keep this letter and the attached <br />information available for your reference. <br />In reiteration of the terms of approval of TR-03 on the importation <br />of ore to the Gold Hill Mill, COM, Inc. and the Division agreed to <br />the following: <br />(1) COM, Inc. or its affiliates, or Mi Vida Enterprises will <br />submit the mineralogic composition of the ore and results of bench <br />scale heads and tails chemical composition analyses to the Division <br />BEFORE any ore is moved to the site. COM, Inc. will obtain written <br />approval from the Division before ore is shipped. COM, Inc. will <br />confirm the bench scale analyses with a chemical composition test <br />on the mill tailings after milling begins. <br />AND <br />(2) COM, Inc. will submit the proper signed documentation proving <br />that COM, Inc. or an affiliate owns the ore to the Division BEFORE <br />any ore is shipped to the mill. COM, Inc. will obtain written <br />approval from the Division that this documentation is sufficient <br />before any ore is shipped to the mill. <br />The Divsion feels that this meeting and the attached documentation <br />
