A program called t~uickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your computer in order to use a DBMS imaging CD <br />the first tins:. Future use of this or other immging CD's does not require a new installation of the software. <br />2. The CD or DVD that you purchase must be in the D: drive. A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. <br />3. The CD will contain files with the .tif extension. There needs to be an image viewing application for .tif files on your computer that <br />will handle single and multi-page documents. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Picture <br />and Fax VieweP' or "Paint" and they do not work with QuickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP computers <br />does work. DBMS has determined that a program called "IzfanView'", which can be downloaded from IrfanView.com, does work witlt <br />QuickView. After downloading "h-fanView", it needs to be configured as your default .df viewer. DBMS does not support or endorse <br />this software and the licensing and registration are the user's responsibility. There are many other programs that work as well, such as <br />"Imaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". <br />Inatructiona• <br />1. Insert the CD into your computer. <br />2. Allow time for the CD to instap. <br />3. Eject the CD from the computer. <br />4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. <br />5. You ue ready to view the Perarit Files. <br />NOTE: A program called QuickView Autorun, which runs the QuickView <br />setup program, has also been copied to this CD. if the Autorun prop~am <br />does NOT work, you will need to manually install the QuickView program <br />Instructions for manually installing QuickView are available upon request <br />with the CD or can be viewed at www.minina.state.co.us. <br />The Permit File document images can be viewed in the receptlon uea ottbe DBMS office or they can be purchased om a CD or DVD. <br />The CD/D VD purchase coat wvero the Nnte and tabor of making the CD.
