This mining plan approval document is issued by the United States of America
to:
Wyoming Fuel Company
P. 0. Box 15596
Lakewood, Colorado 80215
for the Golden Eagle mine subject to the following conditions. Wyoming Fuel
Company is hereinafter referred to as the lessee/operator.
Condition i. Statutes and Regulations.--This mining plan approval is issued
pursuant to Federal coal lease C-067; the Mineral Leasing Act of
1920, as amended (30 U.S.C. 181 et ~.); and in the case of
acquired lands, the Mineral Leasing Act for Acquired Lands of
1947, as amended (30 U.S.C. 351 et s_g.). This mining plan
approval is subject to ail applicable regulations of the
Secretary of the Interior including, but not limited to, 30 CFR
Chapter VII and 43 CFR Group 3400, sad to all regulations of the
Secretary of Energy, which are now or hereafter in force; and
all such regulations are made a part hereof. The
lessee/operator shall comply with the provisions of the Water
Pollution Control Act (33 U.S.C. 1151 et sew.), the Clean Air
Act (42 U.S.C. 7401 et sec.) and other applicable Federal laws.
Condition 2. This document approves the Golden Eagle mine mining plan,
updated through May 25, 1988 and authorizes coal development or
mining operations on Federal lands within the area of mining
plan approval. This authorization is not valid beyond
Township 33 South, Range 67 West
Section 28: NWS/4NW1/4
as shown oa the map appended hereto as Attachment A.
Condition 3. The lessee/operator shall conduct coal development and mining
operations only as described in the compltte permit application
package, updated to Nay 25, 1988, and approved by the Colorado
Mined Laad Reclamation Division, except as otherwise directed in
the conditions added to this mining plan approval.
