- ~ -
= Woodwatrd~Clyde
rr Consultants
1'
5.0
GENERAL INFORMATTON
_~
Professional judgements on subsurface conditions, material properties, embanlmlent
stability and tailing dam construction, operation and monitoring aze presented in this
I report. They are based partially on the evaluation of the technical information gathered
a~ by Woodwazd-Clyde Consultants, partially on information provided by AMA:{ Inc. and
others, partially on our understanding of the chazacteristics of the facility, and partially
~~ on our experience with similaz subsurface conditions and tailing dams. Monitoring and
instrumentation of the impotmdment should be accomplished to enable comparison of
~~ actual performance with assumptions made in the analyses.
t~ Woodwazd-Clyde Consultants represents that our services are performed within the
limits prescribed by the Client, in a manner consistent with the level of caze: and skill
~~ ordinarily exercised by other professional consultants under similar circumstaatces. No
other representation to Client, expressed or implied, and no warranty or gu•azantee is
included or intended.
~~
Subsurface investigations on which this study was based were spaced to obtain a
~~ reasonable picture of subsurface conditions. Variations from the conditions portrayed
which were not indicated by explorations may occur. Judgements made should consider
~~ this potential variability.
~~
~~
!~
~~
~~
nsvvau mm-Hour 5-I
~~
