During the end oP Iast summer when tggCing with you and Phil along
with the Division oP Minerals and Geology. I understood that
Mountain Coal would repair the roads and fences and other
Structures destroyed over the mined area.
The first thing; We need to address the repair of the fence on
~/~ our no boundary. That fence has followed the movement of the
~Y ° land down the mountain about 100 feet. It will be necessary to
remove the fence then push out a new location for the fence and
reconstruct the fence. Our entire no t boundary has been
effected by this situation. This fence has to repaired now the
cattle are on the mountain.
~~~ The second thing: we hav® had a land movement of about 80,000
it'e~. tone o! rock which hae fallen off the very toy Jumbo Mountain. In
1~ ,~Q the area we call Muffler Rock. The top o£ the bluff has broken
~P~Y off`60 feat back of the original face and tons of rock Ass fallen
into the ravine at the bottom. It appears that there is no water
or anything else which would have effected this rock face. The
~q1• only know activity in this area is the subsidence from the mine
5i~ under the surface.
It is important that you arrange and inspection immediately. I
had 11 quests watch the rock face deteriorate on the weekend of
May 9, 10 I1.
