In his memo Jim makes a
recommendation that designs for measures to be taken to minimize slide
exposure to the mine work force and surface facilities be submitted. This
plan should detail any changes that may be necessary to the access road on the
mine bench, vent fnN relocation, tramway installation, slope buttresses and
any measures need to stabilize the slope or to protect the operation of the
mine. This report should be submitted by the first week in July. If these
modifications require revisions to the permit they should be submitted as such
before they are implemented. This report may be submitted with the plan that
I had requested during the last inspection for the clean-up of the slide
material in the Bear No. 2 area.
Also Jim requests analysis
mining and reclamation at
submitted by September 30,
Sincerely,
~~~~~
Randall P.
